TicketsThe Langkawi Cable Car climbs 2.2 km from Oriental Village on the island's west coast to the top of the Machinchang range. It stops at a Middle Station at 650 m and ends at the Top Station at 708 m, with viewing platforms at both.
From the Top Station a forest trail or the SkyGlide lift leads to the Langkawi SkyBridge, a 125 m curved walkway hung from a single pylon. The bridge and the Eagle's Nest SkyWalk at the Middle Station are ticketed separately or as combos.

The Langkawi Cable Car is one line with three stations. You board at the Base Station in Oriental Village and can get off at both stations above.

The Base Station of the Langkawi Cable Car is in Oriental Village on Langkawi's west coast, about 20 minutes' drive from the airport.
How to get thereNo. The standard ticket covers the ride and the attractions at the base. SkyBridge needs its own ticket or a combo such as Standard + SkyBridge. Tickets with SkyBridge
Walk the forest trail, about 10 minutes with steps, or ride the SkyGlide inclined lift, under 2 minutes each way. SkyGlide costs RM 16 return (child RM 11) at the Top Station counter.
Yes. On some Wednesdays it opens only at 12:00 after maintenance; the dates are in the operator's operation calendar. It can also stop in high winds or storms. When the cable car is closed, SkyBridge and SkyGlide are closed too.
Early in the morning. Queues build towards midday, and in peak season the Express Lane cuts the wait to about 10 minutes.
It is not recommended for pregnant women, seniors or people with conditions such as high blood pressure or epilepsy. Wheelchair users can ride but should stay on to the Top Station, as the Middle Station is not accessible.
An umbrella, sunscreen, a camera and some cash, plus comfortable shoes if you plan to walk to SkyBridge: the trail has steps and gets slippery after rain. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, and lockers are available on site.
